The Donald, “You Are Fried!” It is the IANA ability to masquerade identities that puts all Presidential candidates and people’s, globally, at risk, up to and after the votes are in.
IANA, Internet Assigned Numbers Authority.
Can we say “#GLOBALCHAOS”?
Hackers already cast their votes for the Most Likely To Secede in the 2016 Presidential race. The call is Hillary v Trump. And Melania. Do Presidential spouses count?
Both Hillary and The Donald had their names cybersquatted as far back as 2005, even earlier. Team Hillary and Team Donald filed legal opposition with WIPO. Neither have made ICANN, IANA, TOR, IP and ID theft part of their #PRESIDENT2016 platform.
Hillary Clinton’s identity was stolen by Sonny Ahuja of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S. In Hillary Rodham Clinton v. Michele Dinoia a/k/a SZK.com, File No. FA0502000414641, (NAF March 18, 2005) the Decision said, “Senator Clinton had common law trademark rights in her own name, not simply because she was famous, for that would not have got her over the hurdle, but because she was also, as the panelist said,“…a best-selling author (who) has written four novels including, It Takes a Village: and Other Lessons Children Teach Us, which was published in 1996 and has sold 622,000 copies, and “Living History,” which has sold 1.68 million hard copies and 525,000 paperbacks since its 2003 publication.”
Donald Trump’s “well-known businessman, real estate developer, hotelier” identity was stolen by SD Dillon of Dorking, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“United Kingdom”), represented by UDRP POLICE DBS, United Kingdom, Donald J. Trump v. SD Dillon, Case No. D2015-0077.
WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center Administrative Panel Decision in Nicole Richie v. Sonny Ahuja, Case No. D2012-0500, shed light on to what and how Cybersquatters and Identity Thieves do what they do. Online. And, with the assistance of ICANN, a name that strangely enough is mentioned by none of the Presidential POTUS wannabee candidates in an election that is going to impact America’s, and the world’s lifetimes, for ever. ICANN is that Department of Commerce entity that Hillary’s husband, Bill, privatized in 1998. With the held of DC based Jones Day. Hillary.com’s complaint is insightful. It should be inciteful. Hillary, the real, POTUS candidate 2016, is saying nothing about how her identity has been assaulted, trafficked. Sorta hard to. The future Male FLOTUS, Bill Clinton set up the program that converts numerical unique identifiers in to warm, fuzzy and User attracting domain names.
Plaintiff Hillary Clinton’s WIPO complaint says, “Respondent is a serial cybersquatter who has registered dozens of domain names that infringe the rights of other celebrities and well-known fashion brands. These domain names consist of a celebrity’s name or a well-known fashion brand, followed by the singular or plural of the word “perfume”, “fragrance” or “cologne”, followed by .com, .net, .or .org. These celebrities and fashion brands include Beyonce Knowles (2 domain names), Bobbi Brown (3 domain names), Bruce Willis (3 domain names), Dolce &Gabbana (1 domain name), Halle Berry (3 domain names), Hannah Montana (3 domain names), Hillary Clinton (3 domain names), Jay-Z (6 domain names), Jennifer Aniston (2 domain names), Jesse McCartney (1 domain name), Justin Bieber (4 domain names), Kanye West (3 domain names), Kim Kardashian (1 domain name), Kylie Minogue (1 domain name), Lindsay Lohan (2 domain names), Miley Cyrus (1 domain name), Queen Latifah (2 domain names), Rihanna (3 domain names), Shakira (11 domain names), Usher (1 domain name), Vera Wang (1 domain name), and Versace (1 domain name),” WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, Administrative Panel Decision, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. v. Parody Sites, enlightens how future FLOTUS Mrs. Donald Trump was targeted by a cyber speculator gambling, months earlier, that The Donald was going to pop the question to Melania.
The dark side of the Internet went after Melania, too.
Melania’s Complaint said, “The Complainant is a widely recognized fashion model and the wife of Donald J. Trump, a prominent real estate developer, entrepreneur and celebrity in his own right. Known professionally as Melania Trump since her marriage to Mr. Trump in January 2005,2 the Complainant’s modeling career includes features in Sports Illustrated, Allure, Vogue, Self, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Elle, and FHM. She has also appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, CQ, Sunday Telegraph Magazine, Ocean Drive, Avenue, In Style, and New York Magazine.”
Melania’s Complaint continues, “In addition to modeling in fashion shows and magazines, the Complainant has commercially exploited her name and celebrity status to promote the products and services of a number of companies. She recently appeared in a national commercial for Aflac, and is under contract to make further personal appearances. She is also under contract as a spokes model for Levi and has made personal appearances to promote that company’s apparel. In addition, the Complainant served as a celebrity judge for the Miss USA 2003 beauty pageant, and she has appeared on her husband’s popular reality television show The Apprentice.”
Respondent, the owner of web development company E-agle Web Consulting, Inc., had registered Melania Trump’s name on April 21, 2004, predating “by some eight months” the Melania’s marriage to The Donald. Melania’s Complaint says the “relationship with Mr. Trump had been the subject of significant media attention beginning in 1999, and the couple’s engagement was announced a short time after the Respondent registered the disputed domain name.”
The Respondent said on their site, “MelaniaTrump.com For Sale @ the bargain price of 1 Million Dollars! Cmon Donald Trump of Apprentice, you can afford it! Site will go to the highest bidder. E-mail [email protected]”
The exiting president of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, ICANN, Fadi Chehadé, testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Communications and Technology Subcommittee that ICANN expects a final transition plan ready by October with new accountability recommendations approved at the same time. Larry Strickling, leader of the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration, testified too. Strickling has yet to be asked why competitive bids where not put out on the IANA oversight contract, during the twenty year renewal.
