I covered Wills and Harry and HRH, Philip and Anne when I was based in England.
The snappers I met then knew boundaries although it was humorous for me to hear them state 'they would be spending the day with the Queen.' It did take me a while to understand they meant, following her.
Your approach while polite is futile.
Your Parliament along with Congress here in America has made the Paparazzi problem exponential. Everyone now is a photographer and a publisher. Everyone now is a victim.
Your legislators are walking your Royals in to more mayhem by not adressing the ICANN/IANA problem.
ICANN is a private non profit that Bill Clinton signed in to law giving use of tax payer funded technology to people who saw profit potential. This was back in 1998. Clinton also approved TOR that Anonymity program. And Google.
Twenty years later, moreso since 2009, all hell has broken loose. One American legislator Loretta Sanchez is to be commended. Sanchez said "we dont know what we are doing" responsive to being challenged on cited pride in being part of Congress for a long long time. As I pointed out, long enough to be part of the problem there is no solution to.
The United Nations Data surge is behind alot of this online feeding frenzy for private lives even Royal Children.
I have your recommendation to follow... I said to a State Department official at one event here in DC. Isnt the selling of identities online human trafficking? He answered 'yes, I never thought of it that way.' And when I pointed out these websites that require a person to sign in to take their personal data down, I asked, 'isnt that extortion and kidnapping?' You dont have to guess that his answer was yes.

Here's the thing. Cops, lawyers, governments have got to get it right. Ask your nearest bobby even head of Palace Security what they know about WIPO, ICANN, IANA and Postel. The most consistent answer will be, "I dont know."
Well we got to get this out as a talking point even to your Lords, Ladies, Barons, Baronesses and Commoners. Legislators here dont know much more than what Google and the Tech lobby has been telling them.... tell them back... selling of toddler George's pic is kidnapping and selling across state and/or international lines. Then proceed forward accordingly.
